April 7, Monday
- Be ready at designated starting point early morning Monday (between 7 and 8 am) at either Hotel Legoland (Billund), Hotel Aalborg Airport, or Dybbølsbro near Copenhagen Central Station.

- WindEurope Annual Event 2025 opens its doors for the second day at 9 am
- 9.30 am: all five tours and The Pavilion Powered by Denmark's 89 companies meet for a breakfast networking reception in Hall E at the main bar of The Pavilion Powered by Denmark. You will be served exclusive Danish pastry, coffee, tea and cold beverages
We are excited to offer a unique package in relation with WindEurope Annual Event 2025 in Copenhagen. Our 2-day tours (April 7-8) provide an opportunity to explore Denmark's wind energy sector through specialized themes, ranging from ports and innovation to green hydrogen and safety. Your experience will culminate with a morning reception (April 9) at The Pavilion Powered by Denmark at WindEurope Annual Event 2025, where we have gathered all relevant +80 Danish Wind Energy stakeholders and companies.
Each tour includes transportation to and from the exciting locations across Denmark (April 7-8), 1 overnight stay (April 7), 2.5 days of meals, and a visitor pass to WindEurope Annual Event 2025 in Copenhagen. Simply ensure you are ready at the specified time and location for the start of the program on April 7. We’ll take care of the rest! You’ll be dropped off around Copenhagen Central Station late afternoon April 8, making it easy for you to reach your own-booked hotel for the rest of the duration of your stay in Copenhagen.

PORTS OF POWER: Denmark's Maritime Gateways to Offshore Wind (April 7-8)
Explore the Danish ports that are crucial for shipping, production, and servicing offshore wind farms. This tour takes you through Denmark's key ports where innovation and logistics meet wind energy.
On the tour we will visit Port Esbjerg, Port of Hvide Sande and Odense Port. Port Esbjerg is world-leading in installation. At Port of Esbjerg, we will as well meet Blue Water Shipping, a global provider of all logistics services in modern supply chain management
Port of Hvide Sande is a service port with commissioned projects, where you'll find Vattenfalls O&M center.
Odense Port is one of Europe’s leading manufacturing ports within offshore wind. We have facilitated the production and load-out of main components for over 1,500 offshore wind turbines. As the largest port in Denmark, with a total area of 8.5 million sqm and 2 million available sqm, we are the perfect production site for the wind industry.
CS Wind Offshore is as well situated at Odense Port, where you will get an exclusive and comprehensive tour of their production sites and facilities. You will believe your eyes seeing the steel structure production and load-out. After visiting CS Wind Offshore, you will be introduced to University of Southern Denmark's impressive Robotics Center, and tour their Large Scale Production site. SDU Center for Large Structure Production (LSP) develops automated robotic solutions for large structures in the building and construction industry, the maritime sector, and the energy sector. The center is located at Odense Port and established under the Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller Institute at the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Southern Denmark.

WINDS OF INNOVATION: A Deep Dive into Denmark's Wind Power Ecosystem (April 7-8)
A comprehensive journey through Denmark's wind power value chain, from manufacturing facilities to testing centers. Discover how the entire ecosystem works together to create sustainable wind energy. The tour starts in Aalborg, north Denmark’s wind hub, where Port of Aalborg plays a central role as a leading production, testing and storage location for the sector. We will start out with a tour of Port of Aalborg and visit the sites and corporate headquarter at CS Wind Offshore (former Bladt Industries), world leading offshore wind foundation and substation manufacturer, and Siemens Gamesa's rotor blade production.
Next we will visit Liftra, who design, engineer, manufacture and deliver tailor-made solutions for special lifting and transportation tasks and turnkey equipment for select turbine models. The 7th concludes with a visit at the testing facility of next generation offshore wind turbines in the beautiful area of Østerild. Test Centre Østerild, as some of the best wind conditions in the world and allow the manufacturers to test full sized turbines before they enter the market.
On the 2nd day (April 8), we will continue our tour to various Danish expertise and product manufactures. Including ENABL, who delivers highly specialized engineering services and turnkey solutions to the world’s leading renewable companies. Afterwards, we will continue to visit Dynamica Ropes and their production site. They are a Danish manufacturer of heavy lifting slings for offshore installations, mooring ropes for FOWT and multiple rope solutions. They manufacture and supply high quality high performance fiber products made with HMPE/Dyneema® that replace steel wires and chains in many applications within the Energy Sector.
Expect as well a visit at KK Wind Solutions, experts in electrical systems by combining technical knowledge and insights from extensive experience in the field to create new and improved solutions. During your visit, you will gain insight into the extensive expertise that has positioned KK Wind Solutions as a leader in the wind industry for over 40 years. You will also learn about the efficient manufacturing processes that underpin their success as a leading systems supplier to the renewable energy industry. Their capabilities span developing state-of-the-art technologies, high-quality lean manufacturing, and flexible aftermarket services.

GREEN HYDROGEN PATHWAYS: The Wind-Powered Future of Energy (April 7-8)
The connection between wind energy and green hydrogen is the future of sustainable energy. This tour explores Power-to-X technologies and Denmark's leading role in green hydrogen production.
On the tour we will visit GreenLab Skive, a green and circular industrial park to develop and demonstrate integrated energy systems. After GreenLab, we will visit DEIF, who specialize in providing cutting-edge solutions for controlling and protecting power systems. Their intelligent and flexible generator controllers and wind turbine controllers enhance power generation efficiency without adding to environmental impact. Utilizing highly configurable electric switchboards, we direct power precisely, ensuring uninterrupted uptime.
After DEIF, in collaboration with Technological Institute, expect a visit a new demonstration plant at Aarhus University Viborg in Foulum investigating to significantly reduce carbon emissions from methanol production, as well the sector coupling research facilities at AU Viborg
On April 8, you will meet Energinet, and their significant role in Danish green hydrogen efforts. Energinet is the Danish TSO (Transmission System Operator), and they own, operate, and develop the backbone of the Danish energy supply: the transmission networks, which are the main networks for electricity, gas, and hydrogen. Energinet is an independent, public enterprise under the Ministry of Climate, Energy, and Utilities. Their headquarters are located in Fredericia, which we will visit.
As well we will visit SOEC electrolyzer manufacturer, Dynelectro learning about their stack innovations. Dynelectro offers a unique method extending life expectancy of solid oxide electrolysis (SOEC) with a factor of 5 or more. Dynamic control is deployed to offset intermittent power within green fuel production. They have proprietary technologies which can unlock significant potential to reduce the cost of green hydrogen. Dynelectro design and manufacture a novel method to produce green hydrogen using commercially available hardware.

FROM CONCEPT TO TURBINE: Exploring Wind R&D (starting from Copenhagen) (April 7-8)
From research and development to practical application – this tour focuses on R&D in the wind industry, starting from Copenhagen. Experience the places where innovative ideas become reality.
On the tour we will visit large scale testing facilitites, Danish companies specializing in research and product development and technological institutes sharing their truly inspiring project cases. Expect visit to DTU Wind and Energy Systems, who operate some of the world’s most advanced research infrastructure and test facilities for wind and energy systems. Researchers and companies can test everything from nano-scale materials, large-scale structures, fully powered demonstrations of turbines to stability and balancing the net-infrastructure.
As well expect visit to FORCE Technology, a technology consultancy and service company. FORCE Technology is an important part of the backbone of the Danish innovation system, contributing to technological development. FORCE Technology has worked with the global wind power industry since the first commercial wind turbines. As one of the large GTS (RTO) institutes in Denmark, FORCE Technology supports the entire wind value chain from design, testing and validation procedures, lifetime assessment, maintenance to end-of-life. FORCE Technology has a wide range of state-of-the-art facilities for testing of e.a. structures, products, materials and components. The R&D tour will explore the Wind Maritime facilities at FORCE Technology for areo- and hydrodynamic including simulators

SAFETY FIRST: Exploring Safety & Training in the Wind Industry (April 7-8)
Safety is paramount in the wind industry. This tour delves into the best practices, standards, and innovations that ensure the industry operates safely and efficiently.
On the tour we will visit training facilities, equipment providers, and other safety and training facilities. The tours' first day (April 7), we will get hands on introduction at RelyOn's top class safety training facilities in Esbjerg. On site, will have visits from 1) Kanda, providers of certifiable GWO courses in virtual reality. 2) Global Wind Organisation (GWO), is a non-profit industry association founded by leading wind turbine manufacturers and operators to provide training standards for a safer and more productive workforce. 3) VIKING Life-Saving Equipment, providers of everything from lifeboats, fast rescue boats and evacuation systems to liferafts, personal protective gear, firefighting equipment and safety training. 4) CCB Safety who provides expert safety solutions for industries globally and offers certified safety equipment sales and consulting, flexible rental services, fall protection training, and thorough servicing and inspections.
On the tour's second day, we will move onward to the island of Fyn and visit more Danish pioneering safety training providers. You will meet Maersk Training and ICM Safety. Maersk Training's facilities in Svendborg were established in 1999, Maersk Training’s facility in Svendborg, Southern Funen, is its largest simulation site. The centre expanded in 2010 with the addition of the state-of-the-art MOSAIC simulation centre and a hotel, enhancing the training experience for participants. Svendborg, a historic maritime hub, is closely tied to A.P. Møller Mærsk, which began operations nearby in 1904. Many Danish seafarers have launched their careers in this region, reflecting its longstanding connection to maritime industries. The centre provides advanced training in a realistic environment, supporting the development of essential skills for the maritime and offshore sectors. Maersk Training are the sole provider of floating and jacking training in the world. ICM Safety delivers top class protective equipment for all Industries, among which the wind & energy sector.
