Danish Energy Export and the Trade Council of Denmark in Spain would like to invite you to a webinar on “Business opportunities in the Spanish Onshore Wind Market”.
WEBINAR: ‘Business opportunities in the Spanish Onshore wind market’, organized by Danish Energy Export and The Trade Council of Denmark in Spain.
During the webinar, Deepak Chinnapa from the Brinckman Group will present the results of the analysis conducted on the Spanish market.
With approximately 30GW of installed onshore wind capacity, Spain is the second largest European wind energy market after Germany, and it has the fifth largest installed capacity globally. This webinar is an exclusive opportunity to get a deep insight into the Spanish market and to obtain knowledge on Spain’s ambitious future wind plans, as well as existing commercial opportunities.
A few initial report highlights:
- Spain is to install another 25GW of onshore wind capacity within the next decade, resulting in a projected cumulative capacity of 56GW by 2034
- The repowering of existing wind turbines presents a significant opportunity in Spain - 40% of turbines are +20 years old, and the majority of these units have a capacity of less than 1MW
- The webinar will also present a series of commercial opportunities within a variety of sub-segments – immediate opportunities which can be pursued by specialized Danish firms
Participating in the webinar, will also provide you with insights into:
- The Spanish value chain and its opportunities
