During this one-hour webinar, you will get a clear view of the planned offshore and onshore wind sector developments in the Baltics and Finland.
There are significant opportunities within the wind power energy in the Nordic-Baltic Region. Collectively the region compromises a significant potential for wind power, with capacity of 9.1 GW in Baltics and Finland only within offshore wind, almost the same capacity is planned within onshore wind development.
The main driver behind the transition towards more renewable energy, and in particular wind is mainly energy independence (from fossil sources, and importing) as well as increased electricity consumption (from electrification of the transport sector to reduce C02 emissions). Highlights of new planned projects:
- Estonia and Latvia: joint 1,000 MW offshore wind park,
- Estonia: 2,000 MW offshore wind,
- Finland: 3,000 MW offshore wind and 18,500 MW onshore
- Lithuania: 3,400 MW offshore wind and 1000 MW onshore
This free of charge webinar will give you a clear view on the government plans for offshore and onshore wind energy in the Baltic countries and Finland and an introduction to the key possibilities for the Danish companies
