DWEA & the Danish Embassy in Rome would like to invite you to a webinar with focus on the Italian service and retrofit market of onshore wind turbines.
Italy is one of Europe's most important markets for onshore wind. Latest figures from 2021 show that around 11 GW and 7300 wind turbines are currently installed in the country. Out of the existing portfolio, 140 wind farms, representing around 2080 wind turbines, have been installed in the period from 1991 through 2005. These wind turbines will end their life cycle in the 2020s. In addition, around 557 wind plants, representing 7.6 GW, will see the financial incentives connected to the green certificates expiring before 2030.
The current market scenario opens new opportunities for Danish repowering and retrofitting products and services. Energy Export in co-operation with the Royal Danish Embassy in Rome is pleased to invite Danish companies to participate in an online webinar to gain insights of the Italian market and regulatory framework. During the webinar, Italian and Danish operators (renewable developers and park owners) will share their key knowledge and experience in the Italian onshore wind market, sharing challenges, opportunities and best practices learned.
